Free parking
You can park free of charge in the VNP’s three large car parks in Niederhaverbeck, Oberhaverbeck and Undeloh. Just put your membership card in your car, clearly visible, and enjoy the Heide.
Member’s magazine “Naturschutz und Naturparke”
You will receive our member’s magazine “Naturschutz und Naturparke” (Nature Conservation and Nature Parks) at least three times a year free of charge with reports on work being done by the VNP and its Stiftung Naturschutzpark Lüneburger Heide
Voting rights at the general meeting
You elect the chairman of the association and the chairman of the foundation at the general meeting.
VNP events
You are invited to the various events of the VNP:
- Get to know one of the German nature parks or a large German protected area. An interesting and varied weekend programme as part of the annual VNP Nature Excursion with guided walks, visits and lectures gives us an insight into other areas in Germany worthy of protection.
- See the work of the VNP with your own eyes on our traditional summer or winter walks in the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve, led by VNP staff.
- Be enchanted by classical concerts at the “Emhoff” in Wilsede.
- At the biennial farm festival at the Tütsberg landscape conservation farm, you can talk to the VNP staff in person, find out about the VNP’s work, and enjoy a varied programme of events with a Heidschnucken bratwurst.

Your contributions and donations help to preserve the habitats of endangered animal and plant species, as well as the unique landscape of the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve for future generations.
