The "Hans-Pforte-House" in Niederhaverbeck attracts visitors with a new exhibition dedicated to bees...
In the nature information house in Niederhaverbeck the modern exhibition "Bees worlds" puts the focuse on the faszinating life of bees:
What is so special about bees?
What is special about beekeeping in the heath?
What is special about wax and honey?
With what kind of equipment does the beekeeper works today, how was it in the past?
These and a lot more questions will be answered in the new design exhibition of VNP-Stiftung Naturschutzpark, supported by the project "Natur erleben" of the ministry of environment, energy and clima protection of Lower Saxony as well as the European fund for regional development.
Our small shop area offers nipples and useful things around the bee. For example: honey soap Lindesa-handlotion or honey sweets. Depending on the time of the year we offer different kinds of honey we receive from apiarist from the nature reserve.
Are your planning a trip to the "Bees worlds" with your group? The "Landhaus Haverbeckhof" next door will take care for your food and drinks. Lunch, Brotzeit or coffee with a piece of bee string cake can be arranged when booked in advance.
